Hi friends,We already know that google acquired motorola in the year 2012.And January 29 ,2014 google in their blog made a post that was going to sell motorola from google to lenova.And they signed up an agreement for a deal of $ 2.91 billion.But the approval process takes some time.On other sides,all deals smoothly finished.
Why Google Selling Motorola?
One of the founder Larry page mentioned that this deal for the benefit of smartphone users everywhere inorder to put energy for driving innovation across the Android ecosystem .And also he mentioned that he was very impressed with motorola’s work for the past 19 months.
Why Google Selected Lenova?
Google says Lenovo is a rapidly growing smartphone business and is the largest (and fastest-growing) PC manufacturer in the world.And google believes that Lenova will serve better in super competitive smartphone market to driving innovation across the Android ecosystem.
Is Google also selling whole patents?
No,Google will retain the vast majority of Motorola’s patents, which we will continue to use to defend the entire Android ecosystem.We already know that , google buys motorola mainly for the patents.
Finally Google says,Lenovo as a partner, Motorola will build more and more great products for people everywhere.
